The Central Board of Secondary Education began releasing Class 12 re-evaluation and verification of marks outcomes on Sunday, July 21, with more than 87% of all submitted applications declared on that day. Students can check their updated status through the official DigiLocker results portal at results.digilocker.gov.in.

“CBSE has commenced the release of Class XII Verification of issues observed and Re-evaluation outcomes,” the board posted on its official handle, @cbseindia29. CBSE added that results are being released in phases and that remaining applications will be processed shortly.

How the Revised Post-Result System Worked

This year, CBSE introduced a revised post-result process that gave students greater transparency before committing to a formal challenge. Under the new system, students could first obtain scanned copies of their evaluated answer books, review them, and then decide whether to seek verification of marks, identification of any unevaluated answers, or a full re-evaluation.

According to CBSE, students applied for scanned copies of 11,31,961 answer books through 4,04,319 applications following the declaration of Class 12 results. After reviewing those scripts, approximately 3.8 lakh answer books were carried forward for verification and re-evaluation.

More Than 1.6 Lakh Students Filed Requests

More than 1.6 lakh students submitted verification and re-evaluation requests related to those 3.8 lakh answer books during the application window, which was open from June 2 to June 7, the board said.

CBSE urged students to rely only on official sources for updates and cautioned against rumours and unverified information circulating on social media regarding the re-evaluation process.
