Nagaland’s TaFMA Signs Music Education Partnership with Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama marking a significant step toward international collaboration in music education and cultural exchange between Nagaland and Wales. The agreement is designed to strengthen ties in music education, artistic development, and cultural exchange, according to the Morung Express. Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) described the partnership as an important milestone for future cooperation between the Welsh institution and Nagaland’s music and cultural institutions.
A Week of Visits and Cultural Exchange
Brian Weir, Dean of Students at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, traveled to Nagaland from June 17 to 21 to explore opportunities for long-term cooperation. During the visit, Weir toured several key institutions, including TaFMA Headquarters, Music Academy Kohima, Nagaland College of Music and Fine Arts, Margaret Shishak School of Music, and Tetso College.
